Finance Systems Analyst - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a detail-orientated finance systems professional with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations? This is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you'll play a key role in supporting and improving the finance function, with a strong focus on systems, processes, and data analysis.

The Opportunity
In this role, you'll work closely with the Finance Systems Manager, acting as the go-to person for all things D365 within the finance team. You'll be hands-on with system support, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate financial data while also driving improvements and efficiencies across processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing and optimising D365 Finance & Operations on a day-to-day basis

• Supporting finance with month- and year-end system processes

• Troubleshooting queries and maintaining configuration documentation

• Working with project teams to streamline workflows and automate tasks

• Assisting with system testing, UAT, and integration with other platforms

• Producing reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI

• Creating user guides and providing training to finance teams

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with D365 Finance & Operations in a finance systems or support role

• Strong knowledge of finance processes (month-end close, journal entries, reporting)

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH etc.)

• Familiarity with Power BI and OCR tools would be an advantage

• A proactive problem-solver who enjoys improving processes and supporting others
