Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of finance systems controls within a global business? BAE Systems is looking for a Finance Systems Assurance Manager to lead their efforts in ensuring high standards of system governance, audit readiness, and data assurance across our finance systems.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT systems audits, finance audits, and system governance
• Leadership and influencing skills, with a proven track record of managing change and improving processes
• Experience in project delivery and understanding of the financial control environment
• Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement knowledge is a plus
• A professional finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is essential

The Job:

• Lead a team in delivering finance systems assurance across the organisation
• Drive compliance with corporate reform and data governance requirements
• Act as the key point of contact for internal and external audit on finance systems controls
• Manage relationships with GCC, EIT, and the Global Process Owner (GPO)
• Support the implementation of financial control measures through the Ad Astra transformation programme
