Finance Technician – 12 Month FTC
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: £35k–£40k + pro rata bonus + benefits

We’re partnering with a leading London Market insurer to find an experienced Finance Technician to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller (and later either the Senior Financial Accountant or Claims Controller), you’ll play a key role in finance operations — with a strong focus on:

Running the claims payment run and supplier payment run (covering for colleagues during holidays and peak periods)
Finance operations tasks including bank reconciliations and journal postings
Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve payment queries
Providing cover across the finance team as needed#

What We’re Looking For

Experience running payment runs and working in accounts payable/finance operations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator who can pick up the phone to chase payments and liaise with different teams
Ideally insurance experience, but wider financial services will be considered
Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
