Finance Transformation Manager

Jackson Hogg is supporting a global organisation in Newcastle on the appointment of a Finance Transformation Manager.

As the Transformation Manager within the Newcastle Finance shared Service Centre, you will be part of an experienced delivery team and will report into the Newcastle Head of Shared Services. The role will be accountable for driving incremental improvements and the development of globally standardised, efficient and effective processes.

The Role

• Champion and drive continuous improvement across all finance delivery teams.

• Promote enhancements in the Shared Service Centre (SSC) offering, with focus on both Newcastle and Manila hubs.

• Oversee a wide range of tactical initiatives, shaping a clear and compelling narrative of progress and change.

• Lead the standardisation of finance processes to ensure consistency across SSC locations.

• Manage internal and external resources involved in key initiatives.

• Oversee dependencies that may impact overall transformation efforts.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and managers across multiple geographies to identify challenges and develop practical, high-impact solutions.

• Establish and maintain frameworks for planning, scheduling, quality review, governance, and risk management.

• Ensure successful delivery of transformation goals and continuous alignment with business objectives.

Experience:

• Proactively monitoring overall progress of transformation, resolving issues, and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
• Leading/ supporting the management of stakeholders, their expectations and maintaining close relationships.
• Using Operational and Project Management Tools and Techniques providing oversight and transparency over status and outcomes.
• Leading Transformation team meetings, workshops, and reviews. Working closely with colleagues to understand requirements
• Monitoring, evaluating, recording, and reporting on progress within the established governance framework.
• Maintaining detailed documentation supporting transformation initiatives
