Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running? Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Finance/Payroll Assistant to join our team supporting secondary schools across Barking and Dagenham.

You will be responsible for a range of financial and payroll administrative tasks, supporting the smooth operation of the school's finance office. Duties include:

• Processing payroll data accurately and on time

• Handling invoices, purchase orders and budget monitoring

• Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations

• Supporting audit preparation and compliance processes

• Liaising with staff, suppliers, and external agencies

We're looking for someone who:

• Preferably has experience in finance or payroll

• Is proficient with finance software and Microsoft Excel

• Can manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

• Has excellent attention to detail and communication skills

• Can work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of SIMS, FMS or other school systems is a bonus.
