Financial Accountant

Our client are a company based in St Ives looking for a financial accountant to join them on a temporary basis. 

Job Description: 

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role can a pay a day rate of £250 PAYE or £300 Umbrella (Inside IR35), and is on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
• Balance Sheet and P+L Reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain and update financial records

Qualifications:

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
