Financial Accountant

Job Title: Interim Financial Accountant

Location: Northampton
Duration: 12-15 months (Starting April/May 2025)
Salary: £60,000-£70,000

My client is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join their team for a 12-15 month period, starting at the end of April or beginning of May 2025. This role will provide vital support during a period of transition and will be covering for their current Financial Accountant.

• Prepare and manage month-end consolidation processes, including cash flow management and group reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and maintain accurate financial reporting standards.
• Provide ad-hoc financial support to the FP&A team, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Report directly into the newly appointed Head of Financial Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with month-end consolidation, cash flow, and group reporting.
• Full professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) - Newly qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting is highly desirable.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent attention to detail.
