Financial Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial tasks, providing accurate financial information, and contributing to the overall financial strategy of our industrial/manufacturing operations on a 12 month contract.

Description

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Overseeing accounting operations, including the design of an organisational structure
• Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
• Implementing best practice accounting methods
• Researching and resolving financial discrepancies
• Contributing to financial audits and coordinating regulatory reporting
• Collaborating with management on development and execution of funding strategies

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• Professional accreditation such as ACCA, CIMA, or similar
• Proficiency in major accounting software packages
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and dependability
