Financial Accountant

I am working with a luxury fashion brand, who are looking for an experienced Part Time Financial Accountant for two days a week to join them on a 3 month contract with opportunity to start quickly. 

The details of the role include: 

• Prepare monthly statutory management accounts in accordance with FRS102 and complete month-end checklists.
• Conduct and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including inventory, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare the year-end trial balance and oversee the preparation of statutory accounts with an external third party.
• Assist with planning and coordination of the annual external audit, serving as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Oversee the accounts payable function, including the review of weekly payments.
• Manage quarterly UK VAT submissions and oversee import/export VAT processes.

• ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification.
• Preferred audit experience.
• Excellent skills in Excel and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to logically solve problems and present workpapers in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborative work style and the ability to build strong relationships with senior commercial, financial, and legal partners.
