Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant for an initial 3-month fixed term contract.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment and is immediately available or coming to the end of an assignment.

What you'll do:

You will take the lead on monthly group reporting, providing commercial insights on new ventures across European territories. Your expertise will be crucial in driving process improvements and maintaining financial controls. Additionally, you will deliver ad hoc analysis and support to Group Finance and operational teams.

• Support the wider group finance function with year-end reporting, external audits, and statutory accounts.
• Act as a liaison with external advisors for audit, tax compliance, and VAT submissions.
• Lead on monthly group reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide commercial insight on new ventures across European territories.
• Assist in driving process improvements and ensuring financial controls are maintained.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and support to Group Finance and operational teams.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant position is ACA with solid experience preparing statutory and consolidated accounts under IFRS/UK GAAP. You have a strong understanding of audit processes and compliance requirements. As a confident communicator, you are comfortable working with senior stakeholders across regions.
