Financial Accountant

We're working with a well known business based in Wiltshire who are seeking an experienced finance professional to support their year-end process on a month-by-month contract.

This interim role is key in coordinating external audit activities and overseeing the production of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/IFRS102.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Coordination

• Liaise with external auditors to plan and manage the annual financial audit

• Provide required documentation and clear explanations to support audit queries

• Implement adjustments based on audit findings and recommendations

Statutory Accounts Production

• Lead on the preparation of statutory financial statements

• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS102 and accuracy of financial disclosures

• Work cross-functionally to collect necessary financial data

What We're Looking For:

• Strong technical accounting background with experience in audit and statutory reporting

• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS102

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Immediate or short-term availability preferred
