Financial Accountant

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 p/a

We are exclusively partnered with a growing organisation in Swindon to appoint them a temporary Financial Accountant to ease their workload at a particularly busy time for the business.

You will play a hands-on and key role in maintaining the financial accounts and controls, working as part of a collaborative team to:

• Record and post journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including:
  
  • Balance Sheet
  • Income Statement (P&L)
  • Cash Flow Statement

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with Accounts Payable & Receivable, process invoices and payments
• Assist in budget preparation
• Support with some Fixed Asset Management

Ideally you will be qualified with ACCA, CIMA, or ACA and qualified by experience Financial Accountants will be considered as well.

• It is essential that you have strong technical financial accounting experience with the ability to hit the ground running
• Proven balance sheet and reconciliation expertise is required as well as having knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• High proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must have

This temporary opportunity is available to start now and will keep you busy for around 6 months, possibly longer.
