Financial Accountant

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be exclusively partnering with a well-established business based in the Bolton/Bury area in their search for a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key role during a pivotal period for the company, with strong potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Preparing and managing financial statements
• Statutory accounting and VAT returns
• Month-end and year-end close
• Managing the cash flow process
• Project work

Key Qualifications and Skills:-

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
• Year-end and Management Accounts experience
• Cash flow reporting experience
• Strong Excel skills

Salary and Key Benefits:-

• £55,000 - £60,000
• 26 days holiday + bank holidays
• Hybrid working
