Financial Accountant

Temp to Perm opportunity, £38,000-£40,000, Tamworth

Greenwell Gleeson are working with a successful and profitable SME business based in Tamworth to recruit a Financial Accountant who is seeking a role that will offer growth and development within their career. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a great Financial Controller who is hands on and fully supports their team. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities will include:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable - general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, payment run preparation, statement reconciliations
Reviewing financial documents and transactions
Performing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions
Support month-end and year-end close processes: Prepayments, Accruals, balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow forecasting
Preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly budgets, forecasts and financial reports
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Liaise with external auditors
