Financial Accountant

Role: Financial Accountant

Rate: £250.00 - £300.00 DOE per day Inside IR35

Location: Remote/Cardiff (2 days per week on site)

Contract Duration: 5 months

My client are looking for a qualified Accountant to join their Financial Operations team in Cardiff, with the team focusing on Capital Accounting and IFRS 16 leases.

We are looking for someone with the following:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA certification
Strong analytical skills
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Ability to communicate complex data effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience with SAP

During this role you will be responsible for:

Overseeing the accounting and financial reporting of capital projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
Managing the fixed asset register and supporting processes for capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals.
Working closely with operational teams to track and report on capital expenditure against forecast and budget.
