Financial Accountant

CMA are partnering with a global manufacturing business based in Portsmouth to recruit a Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record and a technical skillset to come in and help the team during a busy period. You will be responsible for the production of statutory accounts and all VAT and Tax related issues within the business.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Production of Statutory Accounts for multiple entities within the organisation.
• Assist with the preparation for group audit.
• Lead on all Tax and VAT related issues.
• Other ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience within a global organisation is essential.
• Strong technical skillset including production of management accounts.
• Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel and use of an ERP system like SAP/Oracle.
