• Daily Rate: £225.00 - £300.00 (inside IR35, through umbrella)
• Location: Cardiff, CF10
• Job Type: Contract (5 months)
• Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Capital and Leasing Team within Finance Operations at our Cardiff location. This role is crucial for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting of capital projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and contributing to operational excellence.

• Oversee the accounting and financial reporting of capital projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage the fixed asset register and support processes for capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals.
• Work closely with operational teams to track and report on capital expenditure against forecast and budget.
• Engage with various stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Ability to communicate complex data effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial but not essential.
