Financial Accountant maternity cover

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Support Centre team. (Temp role to cover a maternity leave to start asap). This is hybrid working role (2 days a week in the office / 3 days at home) so you will be required to live within a commutable distance of our current Support Centre in Burnley. 

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the full cash flow process and reporting where necessary
• Preparing and managing financial statements
• Statutory accounting
• VAT Returns
• Working with the wider business on company projects
• Supporting in the month and year end close processes
• Treasury responsibility

What we are looking for:

• Completed CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualifications
• Experience working in a private equity backed business 
• Experience of managing cashflow or working capital is highly desirable.
• Retail experience (preferable)
• Experience of working with large volume data (desirable)
• Experience working in a Financial Accountant role or Management Accountant Role
• Strong understanding of accounting regulations
• Advance IT skills including Excel
• Experience of using Sage 200 (preferable)
