Financial Accountant (Qualified) - 6-Month Contract

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Contract: 6 Months | IR35 Status: Inside IR35

A Lloyd’s Syndicate is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in their London office. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge, and be confident working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of a timely and accurate month-end expense close
• Track and maintain company expenditure within the general ledger
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce monthly Travel & Expenses (T&E) reports
• Review work from outsourced finance providers and offer support where needed
• Support the AP Manager with ad-hoc tasks
• Contribute to finance-related ad-hoc projects as required

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals, particularly debits, credits, and accruals
• Comfortable reviewing and maintaining financial records in detail
• Able to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities
