This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We're working with a company that manages the railway infrastructure in Great Britain, overseeing its maintenance and development.

This role is for a Financial Analyst-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Leading and directing the finance and corporate governance processes
• Overseeing all financial accounting, analysis, and reporting activities
• Leading the business planning process through strong business partnering and influencing stakeholder

We're looking for people who can show:

• Background with relevant accounting institution (i.e. ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
• Risk management and governance procedures (incl. operating under Managing Public Money rules)
• Commercial Acumen, with an understanding of investment regulations
• OPEX experience preferred rather than banking
