Financial Controller

Our client are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join them on an initial 6 month contract to support them with various projects. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and providing strategic guidance to support business decisions. This role can pay a salary of £65,000-£75,000 pro rata per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
