Financial Controller

Reed Finance are seeking a Financial Controller to join our industry leading client, a rapidly growing SME. This is for an initial 3 month duration, to provide support to the Finance Director however could potentially be extended or even become permanent for the right candidate.

Due to the nature of this position, an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential, along with experience working with stock and inventory to hit the ground running.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage month-end processes.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors and handle associated queries.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Improve financial processes and policies.
• Provide oversight of management and financial accounting.
• Offer ad-hoc finance and strategic support to the Finance Director.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial control and strategic support roles.
• Ability to engage with senior management and external stakeholders effectively.
• Immediate availability to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
