Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with one the most highly respected, well known and visited not for profits, centred within the performing arts / creative space in London. This is in the search for a Financial Controller to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis (with a high likelihood to extend).

The Role:

Reporting into a fantastic, values led CFO who places a huge emphasis on collaborative work, as well as promoting a culture of inclusivity, progression and development, this role will have a range of controllership responsibilities, while also line managing 3 junior reports.

There is a degree of change ongoing within the business and finance function currently, with a huge amount of opportunity for autonomy and ownership on offer this candidate. The nature of the role will be fast paced and will require candidates to possess high energy and a can do attitude, comfortable with rolling up the sleeves and managing / working towards deadlines.

Main duties will include:

• Oversee year end and audit process, acting as main point of contact during throughout
• Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support with various change projects to support CFO
• Take responsibility for month end and production of management accounts
• Produce fortnightly cash flow
• Line manage 3 junior line reports
• Review line reports work including reviewing payment runs
• Ad hoc support for wider finance function
  
  

What we need to see (essential):

• Fully qualified (ICAS / ICAEW / ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experienced with audit
  
  

What we need to see (bonus):

• Charity / performing arts / creative industry background
  

Salary: up to £80k

Location: Central London
