Financial Services Commercial & Regulatory Lawyer - 3 month FTC

We are currently working closely with a market leaking ALSP, that is looking to speak with Financial Services Commercial & Regulatory Lawyer upwards of 8 years' PQE, who will be available for a 3 month assignment with a leading financial institutions in-house legal team. The assignment is due to start imminently, and will follow a hybrid work style.

The successful individual can expect to be involved in leading and supporting on a range of Commercial & Regulatory matters to include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including: Terms of business, Broker/dealer agreements, Research pricing agreements, IT and infrastructure contracts.
• Advising on financial services regulatory issues, particularly those related to MiFID II
• Acting as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, especially front-office and sales teams
• Working closely with the GC and senior legal team members, while independently managing your own workload.

The company operates a hybrid working policy, with 2 days a week spent in their London office.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Upwards of 8 years' PQE specialising in a range of FS commercial contract & regulatory matters.
• A self-starter that's able to work independently where required.
• Someone with confidence to liaise with the front office and sales team.
• The ability to be in the London office 2 days a week.
