Finisher

We are seeking a skilled and experienced finisher to join our team on a short-term contract to help complete the show homes on a new housing development in Skelmanthorpe. This is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the final stages of a high-quality project.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of finishing tasks, including: Plastering and skimming walls and ceilings
• Applying decorative finishes (e.g., paint, wallpaper, tiling)
• Installing skirting boards, architraves, and other trim
• General cleanup and preparation for inspections
• Ensure work meets high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a finisher with a strong understanding of various finishing techniques.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the trade.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work.
