Finishing Foreman / Assistant Site Manager (Housing)

Days per Week: Monday - Friday (5 days)
Working Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Rate: £275 per day
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in a similar role

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager for a housing development in Bristol, comprising 40 terraced and semi-detached 2-3 bedroom homes. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality homes to Housing Association partners, from internal finishes to successful handover.

• Manage the finishing phase from 2nd fix to completion: carpentry, plumbing, electrics, decoration, flooring, cleaning, mastics, etc.

• Conduct site inductions for all personnel and visitors.

• Monitor Health & Safety compliance including PPE usage.

• Coordinate internal trades to maintain progress and quality.

• Drive progress by attending and leading subcontractor meetings.

• Perform snagging and support final commissioning of the houses.

• Ensure all certifications (Electrical Certs, Air Tests, EPCs) are in place for CML.

• Oversee the client snagging and handover process.

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure delivery standards are met.

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager on residential projects.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple internal trades.

• Strong understanding of UK housing standards and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
