Fitter Welder

Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Fitter Welder, on behalf of an established engineering and fabrication company based in the Dudley area.

The role:
Working in a workshop environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding and the fabrication of mild steel parts, including cover assemblies. You’ll need to be confident working from technical drawings and delivering high-quality, accurate work.

Job duties:

• MIG welding of mild steel components
• Fabricating from detailed engineering drawings
• Assembling and preparing materials using standard fabrication tools
• Ensuring welds and finished pieces meet quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong MIG welding and fabrication experience (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Background working with mild steel and welded cover assemblies
• A reliable, proactive individual who takes pride in their work

Key Details:
Hourly Rate: £15.00 – £16.00 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible start between 8:00am – 4:30pm
