Fixed Income Settlements Analyst
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fixed Income Settlements professional to join a high‑performing Investment Operations team on a contract basis (6months). This role is suited to someone with strong settlements, including failed trade investigation knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Support within the post trade confirmation and settlement processes associated with Fixed Income. Including but not limited to; CTM trade matching, market pre-matching, custodian settlement and failed trade management.
• Oversee the team's monitoring of trade message flows, identifying any exceptions in the swift messaging and performing investigation and analysis leading to timely resolution.
• Daily oversight of the settlements inbox to ensure coverage by the team.
• Manually process trade executions that fall outside of the automated instruction process.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide support to the Trade Support team as a first line of escalation for the more complex issues
• Daily investigation and resolution of reconciliation exceptions raised

Skills & Experience Required

• Fixed Income Settlement Experience is essential
• Broad operational experience within Investment Banking Operations.
• Strong investigation experience
• Solid understanding of securities markets, deadlines, and settlement challenges.
