About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fleet Technician to join our Operations team within the Bioresource and Energy Services business area. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment, ensuring our operational teams can deliver their services efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and plant items in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Liaise with operators to ensure fleet items are maintained and repaired to support operational needs.
• Commission and decommission fleet items as required.
• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Transport legislation and Health & Safety regulations.
• Support the Workshop Controller and mentor apprentices.
• Participate in flexible working, standby, and call-out arrangements.

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served apprenticeship with City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV Maintenance & Repair.
• IRTEC Inspection Technician qualification.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Class I HGV driving license.
• Solid understanding of Transport and Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using vehicle diagnostic software.
