Qualifications You Must Have

• Recent experience supporting children in a school or nursery setting

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices

• Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths & English, or equivalent)

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK

It would be desirable if you hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent childcare/education certification) but it is not compulsory.
