FLT C/B Driver – Immediate Starts – Leamington Spa ??

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Shifts: Continental pattern – 4 on / 4 off (07:00–19:00 & 19:00–07:00)
Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing with long term potential

Empowered Personnel are urgently recruiting 10 FLT C/B Drivers to support a highly reputable manufacturing and recycling site located in Leamington Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled FLT C/B Drivers looking for long-term, full-time work — with the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.

We are actively seeking FLT C/B Drivers who are reliable, health & safety focused, and keen to take on a physically active role that goes beyond forklift operation.

FLT C/B Driver – Role Overview:

As an FLT C/B Driver, your role will involve a mix of forklift truck work (20%) and general production tasks (80%). This includes machine minding, sanitising equipment, and supporting workflow throughout the site. If you enjoy variety and thrive in fast-paced environments, this FLT C/B Driver position is for you.

This isn’t just a sit-down FLT job, this is a hands on role suited to proactive, team-focused FLT C/B Drivers.

FLT C/B Driver – Key Requirements:

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an FLT C/B Driver
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous exposure to a production, recycling, or manufacturing environment
• Physically fit and confident carrying out manual handling tasks
• Able to commit to continental 4 on / 4 off shifts, rotating days and nights
• Strong understanding of health & safety and hygiene practices
• Must be available to attend a site tour and induction before starting

FLT C/B Driver – Main Duties:

• Operating Counterbalance FLT to move and load materials (approx. 20%)
• Machine minding and assisting production line operations (approx. 80%)
• Cleaning and sanitising equipment and production machinery
• Following strict on-site health & safety and hygiene protocols
• Carrying out routine checks and reporting any faults
• Completing basic paperwork accurately
• Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
