FLT Counterbalance Driver

Company Overview:

We are a leading food production company committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As part of our growth, we are currently seeking skilled FLT Counterbalance Operators to join our team at our BL5 facility.

Job Description:

The FLT Counterbalance Operator will be responsible for operating both Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks efficiently and safely in a food production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licenses.

Shift Pattern:

Flexibility to work rotating shifts - including Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Duties:

Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks to transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the production facility.

Load and unload trucks, pallets, and storage areas safely and efficiently.

Assist with stock rotation and inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of materials.

Work closely with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials to production lines.

Conduct regular safety checks on forklift trucks and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and production areas.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licenses.

Previous experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks in a food production or similar environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is advantageous.
