FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Northampton (initial training in Luton & Dunstable)
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (overtime and weekend work may be required)
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour

ACS Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client who is a leading supplier in the construction and drainage industry, with operations currently in Dunstable and Luton. They are relocating to a new facility in Northampton. As part of a small, tight-knit team, they’re looking for reliable and flexible FLT Counterbalance Drivers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved in a variety of tasks beyond forklift driving.

Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance forklifts (training to upskill to Bendi/Flexi will be provided)
• Manual warehouse duties including pick, pack, and light assembly
• Supporting team members across different areas of the warehouse
• Participating in a positive and team-oriented work environment

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance licence (in-house accepted)
• Willingness to upskill to Bendi/Flexi FLT
• Comfortable working off the truck as needed
• Physically fit and able to carry out warehouse duties
• Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player

Training Schedule:
Please be aware that first week you will be required to travel to Luton or to Dunstable for training.
An extra 4 hours per day will be paid during training travel.
