FLT Driver – Counterbalance

Are you an experienced Forklift Truck Driver ready to take on a new and rewarding challenge?

Position Overview:

Job Title: FLT Driver
Location: Headcorn
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (+ enhanced rate for OT & W/E)
Contract Type: Temporary (but on-going)
Start Date: Immediate (Monday to Friday)
Shifts: Rotating schedule – applicants must complete both shift times on alternate weeks
Car driver preferred due to rural location

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift (FLT) Driver to join a thriving warehouse and production operation. You'll work on a rotating shift pattern and play a vital role in stock movement, dispatch, and maintaining safe workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate counterbalance and/or reach FLT (depending on license)
Use Pump Pallet Truck (PPT) for manual handling tasks
Load and unload vehicles with care
Transfer stock into designated storage areas
Prepare goods for dispatch efficiently
Conduct routine equipment inspections
Follow all health and safety procedures
Keep accurate records of inventory movements

Candidate Requirements:

Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance, Reach, or both) - MUST be external
Experience using Pump Pallet Trucks preferred
Previous warehouse / FLT experience
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Proactive attitude and dependable work ethic
