FLT Operator

Are you an experience FLT Operator with atleast one year of experience? Do you have a valid B1 Counterbalance Licence? Do you have Full Driving Licence and own transport to commute?

We are currently looking for a FLT Operator role available at Telford for out client Holcim UK LTD. This role is ideal for someone who has a valid B1 Counterbalance Licence with at least an year of experience with Forklift.

Role: FLT Operative

Location: Besblock Limited - Heslop, Halesfield 21, Telford, Shropshire, TF7 4NF

Rate: £13.50 per hour, also £24/day shift allowance will be added whenever on nights

Overtime: £18.39 per hour, paid after 41.25 hours Mon-Friday and for Saturdays and Sundays

Shift Patterns: Alternative Shifts based on business requirements, Day shift consist of 60 hours of work in a week and Night Shift is for 56 hours in a week,

Day Shift = Mon to Fri, 6AM - 6 PM, 12 hours a day shift.

Night Shift = 6 pm - 6 am, Monday-Thursday, 10pm-6am Sunday

Contract length: Ongoing contract initially for 3 months with possibility of going as permanent

Start: Once clearing the interview round, followed by completing all the onboarding checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading 850kg bags onto trailers
• Operating a 2.5 and 3 tonne Forklift effectively and safely at all times
• Carrying out duties assigned within the units daily tasks
• Adhering to Health and Safety procedures at all times

Essential Criteria:

• Full Driving Licence and own transport to commute.
• Valid B1 Counterbalance Licence with an year of experience at least
• Ideally with a clamp licence but can train as well
• Experience in machine operating
• Proficiency in operating various machinery
• Skilled in performing manual labour tasks
