We are seeking Food Production Operatives to support our well-established client in Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic food production environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities for Food Production Operatives

• Preparing and lining oven trays for baking
• Handling and moving baking trays with care and efficiency
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Cutting and finishing baked goods to high standards
• Hand-finishing products with precision and accuracy
• Labelling and dating products for dispatch
• Packing goods securely for delivery
• Reporting machinery faults to supervisors

Shift Pattern

• 4 on / 4 off rotation
• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)

What We Are Looking for in Food Production Operatives

• Access to own transport, as the location is not accessible via public transport
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous experience in food production or factory work is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided
