Job Title: Food Tech Assistant

Contract: Full Time, Temporary

Are you passionate about food and keen to support students in a dynamic learning environment? We are seeking a dedicated Food Tech Assistant to join our team in Basingstoke!

• Support the Food Technology department with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and classroom areas
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies and equipment
• Help set up and clear away practical lessons and demonstrations
• Ensure all health and safety standards are met
• Provide support to students during practical sessions

• Previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in food technology
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety (training can be provided)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
