Salary: £150 - £300 per day

Are you a passionate and innovative Food Technology Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Are you seeking a stimulating opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of culinary arts?

GSL Education are currently seeking a number of dynamic and dedicated Food Technology Teachers to join our outstanding client schools in Slough from September 2025.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students in the art of food preparation, nutrition and culinary skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
• Providing students with practical hands-on experiences in our fully equipped food technology facilities
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and experimentation
• Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work to facilitate their progress and achievement
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and resources
• Monitoring student progress and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition
• Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current educational trends

Must hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
