Hays Construction are pleased to be working with a leading construction contractor delivering various traditional and modular build projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Having been established for over 30 years, this company utilises its own purpose-built manufacturing facilities and specialist expertise to deliver high-quality, innovative projects from schools and healthcare right through to commercial and residential builds. Due to ongoing bid success, they are now seeking a Finishing Foreperson to join their specialist team on an education development based in South Belfast.

Your new role
Due to recently being awarded an education scheme, the company now requires a Finishing Foreperson, responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the internal trades on this project, based in Belfast. The project will involve the erection of a new timber frame extension along with ramp access and external adaptations. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the ground, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, whilst maintaining high levels of productivity between labourers and subcontractors to keep the project on schedule.

What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Finishing Foreperson, you will have proven experience managing various new-build projects with previous experience in commercial schemes advantageous. You must have a proven track record of overseeing internal finishes and trades on commercial or education facilities. A valid CSR (Site Supervisor)/CSCS or SMSTS certification is essential. As the role is based in South Belfast, you must be within a commutable distance of the project.
