Fork Lift Driver

Job Summary:

0700-1700 Monday – Friday and maybe Saturdays

£12.21 PH

ASAP until September

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse/logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring safety standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate records of inventory movements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license/certification
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
