Forklift Operative

Hales Group are seeking a Forklift Operative to join our client based in Cantley.

Previous production, warehouse, food manufacturing, loading competencies and experience are required along with an in-date counterbalance FLT qualification.

This role is varied and will require flexibility work within various sections of the production equally to forklift operation.

As a Forklift Operative, your day-to-day will include a mix of forklift driving and hands-on production tasks:

• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock
• Loading goods onto lorries for dispatch
• Manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Machine minding and monitoring production lines
• Operating wrapping machines and other equipment

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid, in-date counterbalance forklift license
• Experience in loading lorries and working in production or warehouse environments
• Your own transport to reach the site
• A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a team-focused attitude
• Willingness to take on physically demanding tasks

HOURS: 40 hours per week 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00, Monday to Friday weekly rotating shifts.
LOCATION: Cantley
SALARY: £15.42 per hour
TERM: Starting Mid-August 2025 until March 2026
