FP&A Analyst

Multi-national Business Services Group based on the outskirts of Portsmouth require a Financial Analyst to undertake a 3 month interim assignment.

What will the role involve?

Reporting to the Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst position will include;

• Preparation of the annual budget including liaising with key stakeholders to discuss monthly reforecast;
• Monthly sales and variance analysis, providing detailed commentary;
• Working closely with the sales teams in preparing monthly forecasts;
• Provide monthly commentary on business results;
• Working closely with the wider business to identify opportunities to improve the commercial performance of the organisation as a whole and drive through the necessary change.

Suitable candidate:

• Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and have experience of working within a similar position with a large multi-national environment. Candidates from a Public Practice background will also be considered.
• They must possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills and be able to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen.

Additional information:

• The role will be offered as a 3 month interim assignment with the successful candidate expected to attend the Portsmouth offices 3 days a week. For the right individual, there is a strong possibility of a longer term permanent appointment.
