FP&A Analyst (6 month FTC) | Award Winning Creative Media Scale Up | London / Hybrid

Harmonic are excited to be partnering exclusively with one of the most exciting, fast growth scale ups in the multi label media space in the search for a commercial FP&A analyst to join the team during this exciting new phase.

The Client:

Our client are associated with delivering premium podcasts, digital and branded content across sports, entertainment, comedy and fiction. Working with creative media brands, they deliver award winning campaigns shows for the world's biggest brands and broadcasters.

With headcount at 85 and a finance team consisting of a Financial Controller as well as a industry leading CFO, the business are currently turning over circa £25 million and are set to benefit from a new merger in an exciting new period for the company. They have a creative culture with an emphasis placed on exceptional performance and being the leading organisation within their space.

The Role:

This is a 6 month FTC with high likelihood to turn permanent, reporting into a CFO keen on internal growth, development and progression. This position sits at the intersection of finance and operations and will provide key insights that help drive commercial decisions, improve profitability, and support sustainable growth across multiple fast-moving production and media projects.

The role will manage and support multiple financial projects designed to integrate the entities of the recent merger, and create a homogenous financial and operational process baseline across multiple dimensions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse production budgets, project performance, and key cost drivers across campaigns.
• Support pricing decisions and clarify media and production budgets.
• Track actuals vs. forecasts, explaining variances and highlighting risks or opportunities
• Set up, reconcile, and oversee cost statements across multiple productions.
• Manage finances for digital and physical productions, ensuring budgets stay on track.
• Monitor all revenues, purchases, POs, credit cards, and expenses.
• Create and maintain talent revenue statements.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flows, and monthly financial submissions.
• Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities proactively.
• Collaborate with production teams, balancing challenge with support.
• Build and maintain forecasting models, revenue pipelines, and margin analyses.
• Develop dashboards and management reports to track KPIs.
• Assist with business planning, scenario modelling, and cash flow forecasting.

What we need to see (essential):

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA Part Qualified or Finalist
• Comfortable working in fast paced environments

• Experience in TV& Film / Production environment
  

Salary: up to £50k per annum + study support post role becoming permanent

Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days per week in the office)

Availability: Up to 1 month notice
