French speaking Legal Advisor

We're hiring for a French speaking Legal Advisor to join a world leading company from the science and technology sector with successful business operations across the globe.

Hybrid - Cambridge head office ideally 3 days per week + remote / WFH

Job responsibilities of the French speaking Legal Advisor
As part of their international commercial and jurisdiction team, your role will be to offer expert legal support and direction concerning transactional contracts, procurement and other legal advice and support.

Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Building excellent relationships by collaborating with French speaking clients and connections
• Provide legal support and advice in respect of contract negotiation for the sale of goods and services, terms and conditions, and tender documents
• Assisting with the data management relating to purchase orders
• Analyse problems and escalate as necessary to senior attorneys/management
• Managing customer contracts database

The successful candidate background

• Fluency in French and English is essential. Other language skills would be an advantage (but not essential)
• Educated to Bachelor degree in Law
• Post qualifications experience (France, UK or other jurisdiction
• Ideally some post qualification experience or relevant legal experience, ideally in the sciences or tech sector but all industries considered
• A strong understanding of contract law and experience negotiating commercial transactions required
• Well organized and proactive. Logical and process-minded with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
