French Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of French to join an Ofsted Good school in the Sandwell area. The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive, who have a stable and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department, which consists of a good mix of experience who are dedicated to providing an excellent languages curriculum to their students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging French at KS3/KS4.
• Inspire students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential in the subject.
• Work cross-curriculum to promote languages and cultural understanding throughout the school.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across other subjects to integrate language learning into the wider curriculum.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
• Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the school community.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification with a specialism in French.
• Proficiency in French with the ability to teach up to KS4.
• Passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.
• Ability to design creative and engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
