The Role:

Our client is seeking a hands-on data expert with SQL, Python and PowerBI skills to examine and analyse the data landscape, working with systems in order to design performance metrics, MI etc. with a view to deriving insights required to improve and enhance company performance.

In this key role, you will:

• develop and execute the data strategy for the Group
• oversee data governance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
• lead data transformation initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility / reporting, and analytics capabilities
• collaborate with senior leadership in order to embed a data-driven culture
• support strategic decision-making.

What will I need?

• Proven experience as a senior data leader within the insurance industry (ideally within the London Insurance market)
• a strong background in data strategy, governance, and transformation
• a track record of driving impactful data initiatives
• exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• the ability to make complex issues understandable for a non-technical audience.
