Cover Supervisor - Secondary School (Guaranteed Supply Contract, 3 Days Per Week)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team on a guaranteed supply contract for at least three days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior classroom experience as a teacher or cover supervisor, looking for flexible yet stable work in secondary schools. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to facilitate travel between schools.

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.

• Ensure students remain engaged and on task during lessons, promoting a positive learning environment.

• Support students with their learning where necessary.

• Follow school policies and procedures for classroom management and behaviour.

• Liaise with teachers and school staff to ensure seamless lesson transitions.

• Travel between schools as needed, ensuring reliable and professional service.

• Experience in a school setting as a cover supervisor or teacher.

• Confident classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.

• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

• Adaptability to different schools and learning environments.

• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• Strong references from previous education roles.

• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days per week on a supply basis.
