Functional Skills Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to teach Functional Skills Maths at entry levels within the ESOL department to young ESOL learners aged 16 to 18 years old. This part-time, fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of young learners.

• Teach Functional Skills Maths to ESOL learners at entry levels.
• Engage and motivate young learners aged 16 to 18 years old.
• Prepare and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of ESOL students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Be available and willing to teach or cover additional classes in the evenings if required.

• Must hold a CELTA qualification.
• Proven teaching experience, particularly in Functional Skills Maths or related subjects.
• Available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit ESOL learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
