Are you a passionate educator looking to make a real difference? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Swindon, who educated young people across Primary, Secondary and FE ages. We're looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Teacher to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis.
?? Start Date: ASAP - July 2025
? Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm
?? Daily Rate: From £150 per day (negotiable depending on experience)
?? Location: Swindon
?? Potential for a contracted temp to perm role from September!
The Role:
You will be teaching Functional Skills in a small, nurturing SEN setting that supports pupils with a range of needs. The school values creativity, patience, and a hands-on approach to learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and help students build essential life skills in a tailored and supportive environment.
Requirements:
? Experience teaching Functional Skills (Maths and English)
? Passion for working with students with SEN
? Flexibility, empathy, and excellent classroom management
? QTS or equivalent teaching qualification preferred - UK experience is essential!
