Fund Financial Controller

Recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Fund Financial Controller to support across Corporate & Fund reporting on a 12-month FTC covering maternity.

• Take full responsibility for the financial control and reporting of one or more real estate funds, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Responsible for the Financial statements preparation and review, management of audits
• Quarterly & annual accounts
• Preparation of VAT
• Oversee third-party fund administrators and ensure the quality and accuracy of NAV calculations, capital account statements, and investor reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the fund entities, liaising closely with asset management and investment teams.
• Monitor fund performance, KPIs, and compliance with fund documentation and investor requirements.
• Manage capital calls and distributions, including waterfall calculations and investor allocations.
• Oversee the audit process for the fund entities and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, tax, and accounting standards relevant to real estate funds (e.g., IFRS, INREV, GAAP).
• Support fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and ad hoc queries related to fund performance and structure.
• Continuously improve fund finance processes, systems, and controls.

Experience Required

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum 5 years of experience
• Experienced working across Real estate Funds
• Strong Financial reporting & controls experience covering corporate entities
